Follow the rainbow to Findhorn (DVD)

La Fondation Findhorn, un des premiers écovillages du monde, et la Communauté du même nom, au Nord de l'Ecosse, abritent aujourd'hui plus de 400 personnes de tous âges, issues d'horizons et origines diverses. Ce film suit plusieurs d'entre eux : ils nous partagent leurs expériences de vie, le travail commun réalisé, leur quotidien, leur passion pour Findhorn, leur vision et leurs rêves.

Ce documentaire, fruit de plus de deux ans de travail, raconte une histoire très touchante qui parle d'amour, d'engagement et de foi. Une invitation à découvrir un mode de vie. Le réalisateur, Markus Werner, aime Findhorn. Il en retrace l'histoire depuis ses débuts en 1962, honore la mémoire de ses fondateurs Peter et Eileen Caddy (l'auteur de La Petite voix) et Dorothy Maclean.

Findhorn est un lieu qui met l'accent sur l'action inspirée par l'écoute intérieure profonde de la sagesse inhérente à chaque être humain. Il s'agit entre autres de porter un regard plus attentif  de découvrir la signification réelle de ce qu'est vraiment un mode de vie soutenable, et ce qu'il advient quand un groupe de personnes vivent ensemble, en partageant une vision pour l'avenir.

La Fondation Findhorn, c'est quoi exactement ? Elle est connue pour être un site pionnier au sein du Global Ecovillage Network et la communauté qui a l'empreinte écologique la plus faible du monde occidental. C'est aussi un centre de formation qui bénéficie d'une grande estime dans le monde et propose chaque année plus de 250 formations qui attirent des milliers de visiteurs. Mais ce que montre ce film documentaire, c'est que Findhorn est bien au-delà de tout cela un état de conscience.

What is the Findhorn Foundation? We know it to be a pioneer within the Global Ecovillage Network and the community with the lowest recorded ecological footprint in the developed world.
